Stumbled upon this restaurant while driving to Calabria. Welcoming people who helped us pick the food. We had the variety of local antipasti (try them!) and pasta with tomatoes.

We had a stop at Zio Pierino on our was from Calabria to Amalfi for lunch and it was totally worth it. The lunch menu of the day included a huge variety of local Antipasti and Pasta and all of it tasted absolutely fabolous- all of it for a very fair price of 15 per Person. The owners were also very friendly. Totally recommended!

I stayed at the hotel and had breakfast here, they were so lovely and the croissants came fresh out of the oven!

Stopped in for some pasta, but the waitress was insistent that the wife and I have the local antipasto plate for two. We tried to dissuade her but she persisted and eventually we relented. Best thing we could have done. After the initial cutting board of meats and cheeses, the food kept coming out relentlessly...until we were about to say, please no more! Of course, we kept the dessert slot open for the best pistachio semifreddo we have had in Italy. All this plus wine and more for 40 euro...try it you'll like it. Thanks for the helpful young Italian couple who guided us with menu choices.
